The water-filled PVC model uses a wide opening with an inner plug and outer cap. The larger access point makes filling, emptying and checking the closure easier than a narrow valve. For wholesale programs, the final instruction sheet should state the fill range for each size and show how both closures are seated before the mat is placed on the floor.
The water-filled line includes 30 x 40, 40 x 50, 50 x 60 and 60 x 90 cm. Suggested water quantities range from 500-600 g for the smallest mat to 2,100-2,500 g for the largest. Our size guidance also provides pet-weight and body-length ranges, but pet owners should select from the dog’s resting position and usable mat area, not weight alone.
The pre-filled model uses a sealed soft gel core between reinforced outer layers. It arrives as a complete mat and does not use the water-fill port fitted to the PVC water model. Separate SKUs keep filling, cooling reset and storage instructions clear for retail teams and pet owners.
The water-filled PVC mat is waterproof on both sides and can be rinsed or wiped after contact with hair, drool and paw marks. The sealed surface supports quick daily care, while reversible print placement provides two usable faces. The closure and seams should still be inspected before each use because waterproof construction does not make a damaged mat leak-proof.
Selected gel mats combine a waterproof outer layer, cooling gel core and textured grip bottom. The base adds stability on smoother indoor floors, although no portable mat is guaranteed to remain fixed on every surface. Programs requiring this feature can specify the textured-bottom SKU in the approved sample.
The reinforced textured PVC surface is developed for normal paw contact, turning and repeated wiping. This gives the line a clearer durability position than a thin disposable-looking pad. Scratch-resistant does not mean claw-proof or chew-proof, so the product should remain a supervised comfort accessory for pets that do not bite or dig at bedding.
Cooling mats are not chew-proof. The reinforced surface can improve resistance to routine paw contact, but determined biting, digging or sharp claws can puncture the outer layer and expose water or gel. Clear supervision and stop-use instructions answer a frequent owner concern and help retailers avoid unsupported bite-test claims.
The waterproof surface can be wiped with a damp cloth or rinsed when the model’s care instructions allow it. Clean seams, corners and the fill-port area carefully, then dry the mat fully before folding or storage. Proper drying helps control residue, odor and mold during seasonal storage.
