There is no universal load rating for every shelf and wall. We provide model-specific ratings for the approved panel, module, connector and installation combination. Avoid copying the rating from one component to the full system.

They can be developed for large cats with wider landings, lower gaps, reinforced connections and a wall installation rated for the intended use. A small step can connect the route, but a resting perch should provide enough usable area for the cat's body.

Depth depends on whether the module is a step, landing or full resting perch. One compact step is about 20 x 13 cm, while resting modules should be wider and long enough for the intended cat to turn, settle and stretch without hanging over an unsafe edge.

There is no single spacing for every cat. Plan the vertical and horizontal gaps around the cat's size, age, confidence and movement style. Lower gaps, ramps and intermediate landings create a gentler route; active cats may use wider transitions.

Some senior cats can use a low, gradual route with ramps, close step spacing and generous landings. The system should not force high jumps, and another accessible resting option should remain available. Mobility concerns should be discussed with a veterinarian.

A low route can support supervised exploration, but kittens grow and their coordination changes quickly. Avoid unsafe gaps, fall hazards and loose loops, and review the layout as the kitten becomes larger and more active.

Yes, when the panel area supports more than one route, multiple resting positions and clear entry and exit points. Separate high-value perches can reduce competition, but the final layout should reflect the cats' actual social behavior.

Common reasons include slippery surfaces, narrow landings, awkward spacing, an exposed location or an advanced first jump. Start with an easy route near a familiar area, add grip where the approved module allows it and reward voluntary exploration without placing the cat on a high shelf.

Grip is important, but the best surface depends on the module. Our systems can use sisal-wrapped posts and textile bridges or hammocks. Wood platforms can also be developed with approved grip inserts; do not add loose fabric that interferes with connections or cleaning.

Remove loose hair and dust, then wipe finished wood surfaces with a slightly damp soft cloth and dry them. Textile, sisal and transparent components follow their own care instructions. Do not soak the wall panel or reinstall a cleaned component before it is fully dry.

The standard range is intended for indoor use. Wood panels, textiles, sisal and hardware can be affected by moisture, sunlight and temperature changes. Outdoor use requires a separately developed material, finish, hardware and drainage specification.

No. Sisal modules are intended for scratching, but wood edges, textiles and plastic capsule parts can still be damaged by chewing or destructive scratching. Replace damaged parts and prevent access to exposed hardware or loose fibers.

The back panel requires secure wall fixings and will leave installation holes. Its advantage is that normal module changes occur on the panel, reducing the need to drill separate new holes for every shelf position.

Only with the property owner's permission and a wall construction that supports the approved installation. Renters should also plan removal and wall repair. A freestanding cat tree may be more suitable where permanent fixings are not allowed.

Hardware inclusion is confirmed by model and destination market. The pack must separate panel-fixing hardware from module hardware and state the accepted wall types. Professional installation may be appropriate for large or complex layouts.
